This is where we appoint you for a fixed term role and keep your substantive post open for you to return to when your secondment is finished. We may have to back fill your substantive post on a fixed term basis until you return and this may leave teams short staffed, either for a short time while we recruit, or for a long time should we not recruit someone to back fill the role.
